Treating eye infections!
If sticky eyes recur, baby's eyes are red, the lids swollen or the discharge seems purulent, try the following tips and see your doctor if there is not rapid improvement. Clean baby's eyes regularly as described in the Day One tip. Express a little breastmilk and clean the eyes with this and cotton wool balls or gauze squares. Breastmilk has anti-bacterial properties that often relieve mild eye infections.
