The protein structure is also often altered to ensure easier digestibility. Although your baby may have more health problems than a breast baby, you can ensure just as much emotional care by holding baby close to you for each and every feed. This will also ensure that milk does not trickle into the Eustachian tube and cause irritation, mucus production and ear infections.
